Why do I write on this blog?
The main reason I write is because it forces me to use my brain a bit, I kind of like that.
Explaining a concept, an observation or an idea while maintaining a red thread is usually hard but rewarding. Usually by doing so I become better at the topic at hand, my idea gets clearer, I figure out what I actually want to say … and often this is where I find the next thing I want to tackle - that’s some powerful stuff when it comes to just putting down characters into vim.
As a side effect my English is improving since I use some LLM to splellcehck and point grammar mistakes out.
I write primarily for myself, but putting words out for the world to read puts some extra pressure on me to actually finish the blog posts and the thinking, rather than leaving them as a bunch of incoherent drafts.
If you find the things I write here useful, I’m really happy I could help in some way. Hopefully, at the very least, it brings a new perspective.
If you want to discuss anything, my contact details are on the about page.
